Basic Email Hosting - Create A Distribution List


Add a distribution list, or mail group for basic mail users. Mail groups can forward to multiple basic mail users, exchange users (via aliases), or external recipients.


Active Basic Mail services, see Add Hosted Services.

1. In a web browser navigate to the ITSolutionsNow services control panel:


2. Locate the mail icon on the account home screen, hover the mouse cursor over the icon to display the options, and click Groups.


3. Click the Create Mail Group button.


4. On the Mail Group Properties page, configure the distribution list in accordance to these specifications.

  1. Field #1: This is the alias field, create an alias for the distribution list.
  2. Field #2: The domain field, select the domain suffice for the distribution list alias.
  3. Field #3: Enter the email addresses to be added in the distribution list. Member emails will need to be added one per line.

Review the settings for the distribution list, then click Save.


5. The newly created distribution list will now appear under the Mail Groups section, indicating the setup has completed successfully.
