BlackBerry - Remove A BlackBerry User

Active Exchange Email, BES services with both a wireless provider, and ITSN see: Add Hosted Services

Summary

This article will demonstrate how to remove a BlackBerry user from the control panel.


1. In a web browser navigate to the ITSolutionsNow services management website: https://cp.myhostedsolution.com/

2. Click on, Hosted Organizations.

3. Click on the organization name.

4. The organization home page will now be displayed. On the left side of the page the active services will be displayed, under the BlackBerry section click BlackBerry Users.

5. After the BlackBerry user section loads click on the BlackBerry user that is to be deleted.

6. At the very bottom of the user details will be the Delete BlackBerry User button. Click that to delete the BlackBerry user. Deleting a user will not delete data from the phone, only stop the user email address from authenticating/activating with the BES Server.
