SharePoint Hosting - Create A New User


Hosted Exchange Email.


This article will demonstrate how to create a new user.

Creating a new user creates a new container that other hosted services are tied into. By default a new user has no services attached to their account, any additional service has to be configured individually under the relevant section.



1. In a web browser navigate to the ITSolutionsNow services control panel:

2. Click on Hosted Organizations.

3. Click on the organzation name.

4. The organization home page will now be displayed. On the left side of the page the active services will be displayed, under the Exchange section click Users.

5. After the Users section loads create a new contact by clicking the Create User button.

6. Enter both the display name, and email address for the user in addition to selecting the appropriate domain. Once the information is entered correctly click the Create User button to create the user.

7. The subsequent screen that loads will display the User details page. For Sharepoint & CRM hosting the user's First and Last name MUST be filled out, additional details can prove invaluable for greater organization.
