Prerequisites
Summary
1. Navigate and login to the organization's SharePoint website. |
2. From the site home, click on Site Actions, and then click Site Settings. |

3. Locate the section entitled Galleries, and click Webparts. |

4. Click the Documents tab, then click the small arrow next to Upload Document, and finally click Upload Document. |

5. Browse to the location of the webpart, it will be a .dwp file, select it for upload then click OK. |

6. The webpart properties will now be displayed, configure the options as necessary, when done click Save. |

7. Next navigate to the site page the webpart will be placed on, when there click Site Actions and then click Edit Page. |

8. Under Editing Tools, click the Insert tab then click Web Part. |

9. Select the category the Web Part falls under (custom Web Parts will generally be under Miscellaneous), click the desired Web Part, and then click Add. |

10. The Web Part will now load on the editable region of the site page. Once placed properly on the page, click the Save Icon (in the form of a floppy disk) on the top left of the page. |

11. After a brief moment the edited page will save and then display on the SharePoint site indicating a successful setup. |
