Prerequisites
Summary
1. Navigate and login to the organization's SharePoint website. |
2. From the site home, click on the appropriate contact list, or navigate to the location of another contact list. Click on the contact list name to open the list properties. |

3. Click on the List tab, click Connect & Export, and then click Connect to Outlook. |

4. A series of prompts will ask permission to link to the contact list, click Allow, Allow, and Yes. |

5. One last prompt will appear asking for the username and password of the user connecting to the list. Enter the full username (typically an email address user@domain.com) and password. |

6. Outlook will automatically load the contacts section, and the new list will appear. The first image demonstrates the appearance in Outlook 2010 wheras the second for Outlook 2007. Any changes made in Outlook will sync to the SharePoint site and vice versa. |
