SharePoint Hosting - Add A Sub-Site Using a Template

Summary

This article will demonstrate how to create a SharePoint page using a template.

 


 

1. Navigate and login to the organization's SharePoint website.

 

2. From the site home, click on Site Actions, and then click Site Settings.



3. Locate the section entitled Site Administration, and click Sites and workspaces.



4. Click Create.



5. Fill out, or select the appropriate option in the eight indicated fields. The template creation wizard provides a sufficient description of each item, so no additional explanation will be provided. If there are additional questions email support@itsolutionsnow.com. Once all fields are entered click Create.



6. The template will now be created, and will load by default for editing.

    Add a Sub-Site using templates is the requirement of many site owners and sometimes it become hard for the developers to perfectly update the site using a template.
