Web Hosting - Modify The Default Documents List

This article will demonstrate how to add to and modify the default documents list.

1. In a web browser navigate to the ITSolutionsNow services control panel:


2. From the center of the screen hover over the Web icon, and then select Web Sites.

3. Click the pertinent website.

4. The web site properties will load, displaying the current configuration of the website. The default documents are specified in a text box on this page. Whenever a browser request does not specify a document name, the web server refers to this list to identify a default document in a top down order. Enter document names in this field, and then click Update to save changes made to the list.
