Prerequisites

Active Web services, see Add Hosted Services.

Summary

This article will demonstrate how to install a Microsoft Web App.

A Web App is an ubiquitous application designed to be accessed over a inter/intra network in a browser environment or language. Unlike traditional client side applications, web apps require no additional software installation (beyond typical browser languages) and run exclusively from a dedicated (in this case hosted) computing source.

The applications can be installed through the organization's services control panel, and are designed to integrate into any existing hosted website.
