Plesk Web Hosting - Create Custom HTTP Error Messages

 

Prerequisites

Active Plesk Web Hosting services, see Add Hosted Services.  Web page and directories created, see [Step by stap Page Creation]

 

Summary

This article will demonstrate how to create custom web page error messages in Plesk; these can be in HTML files or can be supplied as URL links.

 


 

1. Log in to the web hosting panel using the credentials you were provided.

2.  Select Websites & Domains

3. Then click on the link to the domain name for the web site you wish to edit

4.  Select Virtual Directories

5.  Select the directory the will have the custom error message

6.  Go to the Error Documents Tab

7.  Select the error message you wish to replace

8.  Select either the default error, a file, or a URL from the drop-down menu, enter the appopriate location information, and then click OK.
