Cloud Desktops - Configure Microsoft Remote Desktop for Android

Summary

This article will demonstrate how to configure a session on your Android phone by using Microsoft Remote Desktop Android app.

 


 In order to use Microsoft Remote Desktop, you must download the app from the Google Play Store located at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.rdc.android. You can also search for the app using the search features in the Google Play store.

1. Download and install the Microsoft Remote Desktop app from the link above and open it.

2. Click the + sign to add a new connection.

3. Enter in the credentials we provided for you.

Connection name: Cloud

PC Name: Enter in the Cloud desktop address we provided for you (i.e. 66.129.85.99:12345).

User name: Enter the full username@domain.com login name.

Password: your password.

 

4. Click the Check mark in the upper right hand side to save. Click on the newly created connections to begin the remote connection.
