Add a Delegate and Set Permissions

Prerequisites

Active Exchange services, see Add Hosted Services. Properly configured Autodiscover record, and Outlook 2010.

Summary

This article demonstrates how to setup delegate access for Outlook 2007 & 2010.

In various other support articles it is mentioned that without an Autodiscover record certain higher level functions of Exchange will not work with Outlook, this is one of them. Without an Autodiscover record in place, delegate access will not work. Please reference the Autodiscover setup article, to confirm or setup the correct Autodiscover record.
