Activate Outlook 2010

Prerequisites

Active Exchange services, see Add Hosted Services, and a installed copy of Outlook 2010 provided by ITSN.

Summary

This article shows how to activate Outlook 2010.

 


 

Microsoft Outlook 2010 allows for a thirty day grace period for activation, once expired certain features will be disabled and Outlook will display visible notifications:

It is recommended that once installed Outlook 2010 is activated immediately using the key provided with the download link. If the key needs to be obtained, it may be accessed via the services control panel, or by emailing support@itsolutionsnow.com
 
 

1. With Outlook 2010 open, click on the orange File tab, and click Help.

2. On the right side of the screen, a notification will be displayed Product Activation Required, just below that click Change Product Key.

3. Enter the twenty five product key provided by ITSolutionsNow, found in the welcome letter or obtained from the services control panel. Once entered Outlook will attempt to verify the key and eventually display a green check mark indicating a successful validation. At that point click Continue.

4. Outlook will now need to install the key in the software and will prompt for an installation selection, click Install Now to continue.

5. After a few moments the installation will finish. Exit the activation window, and then restart Outlook. Repeat the process on any computer with ITSN's version of Outlook installed.
